Jillian is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in DC, Maryland and Virginia specializing in individual and family therapy for children, adolescents and young adults.

With a background in school social work in a therapeutic and special education setting, Jillian’s specialty is helping her clients understand and manage big emotions that may feel overwhelming in the moment. Jillian uses a dynamic approach, working with families and children to better support all aspects of the client’s life. Focusing on the whole individual and not just the diagnosis, Jillian understands the current pressures for young people today, including academics, social life, home life and social media.

As a school social worker during the pandemic, Jillian became an expert at engaging all kids, teens and young adults utilizing games, art, movement and workbooks virtually. Jillian makes you feel like you are in the room with her while giving you the flexibility and comfort of being in your own home.

Jillian has expertise in the educational space, creating IEPs, navigating the process with families and ensuring proper accommodations are met. She is extremely knowledgeable and can work with your school and family throughout the IEP development, implementation and attend meetings with you.
