FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

  • The Bari Group is a Telehealth only practice and Jillian is an expert at engaging clients through virtual techniques utilizing games, movement, arts and crafts and workbooks. Jillian will make you feel like you are in the room with her, while having the flexibility comfort of being in your own home.

    We understand virtual sessions are not for everyone. We will work collaboratively to decide the best path for you.

  • We are an out-of-network provider. This means that clients pay for the sessions. We will provide clients with a Superbill.

  • Please contact us for session rates. We accept all major credits cards, Health Savings Accounts (HSA) and Flexible Savings Account (FSA) cards.

    We do require a credit card on file to book a session and it will be charged the day of sessions.

  • We recommend contacting your insurance provider to ask about your out-of-network benefits, reimbursements rates for psychotherapy and if you need to reach a deductible. Insurance companies may need CPT codes to calculate reimbursement rates. Typical CPT codes are the following:

    Intake - 90791

    Individual therapy - 90834

    Family therapy: 90847

    Some questions to ask are:

    1. How do I submit my Superbill?

    2. What are my out-of-network benefits for psychotherapy?

    3. What is the reimbursement rate?

    4. Do I need to reach a deductible before I can get reimbursed? How much is the deductible?

  • Sessions are typically 50 minutes unless otherwise discussed with your therapist.

  • We see clients virtually and can see clients who are in DC, Maryland and Virginia.

  • We have next-day after school appointments available. We begin sessions weekdays at 5pm and our last session is at 8pm. Daytime sessions can be discussed during the intake.
